The Creating a Foundation program is designed to create a foundation from the ground up. Within this program WK&C utilizes a package of professional services including a Positioning Assessment, focus group facilitation, Visioning Session, as well as strategy sessions on topics such as: Board enlistment, governance policies, public relations and marketing, and fundraising.
During this program WK&C provides guidance and assistance in the creation of by-laws; the enlistment of effective Board Members; the design of an identity, including logo and supporting materials; and the development of the platform and infrastructure necessary to implement fundraising strategies for annual and planned giving programs.
This program is ideal for organizations that have a need for a specific philanthropic arm, either for endowment or future operating needs. In addition, organizations that are planning for a capital need may choose to establish and market a foundation in an effort to raise their organizations profile before embarking on such an endeavor.
